SMALL GROUPS
Royal Rangers is a boys/teens ministry designed to Reach, Teach, and Lead boys to Christ. Boys are taught about the love of God through many different activities. Royal Rangers also help the boys grow mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially. Boys five years old thru the 12th grade are welcomed.
Men’s Ministries builds relationships with Christ and others through prayer, fellowship, testimonies and the sharing of His word. The Men’s Ministries supports Church activities, the Habitat for Humanity Program and the Royal Rangers, the boy’s ministry program. Men’s Ministries meet the 3rd Monday of each month.
Mpact is a ministry to introduce and train girls/teens and young boys to be disciples for Jesus. Many activities are incorporated and the participants earn badges or charms for completing the units. A Mpact Awards Ceremony recognizes the accomplishments. Girls/teens from ages 3 thru 12th grade are welcomed. Boys ages 3-4 are welcomed before promotion to Royal Rangers at age 5.
Women’s Ministries seeks to help each woman strengthen their relationship with God, share the good news of Jesus Christ, support and promote Girls Ministries and form homes reflecting Biblical principles. We minister to our church and community. Our motto is “Today’s Woman Touching Tomorrows World.” All women of all ages are encouraged to participate. Monthly meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month in the fellowship hall.
The Nursing Home Ministry is a ministry to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are unable to attend church. It is our desire to encourage them and to let them know we care. We pray for their needs, sing favorite songs, have a devotion and fellowship with them. Everyone is invited to participate in these services at the local nursing home here in Mount Olive. Please check the monthly calendar for the dates and times of the services.
Facetime is our church wide prayer service that takes place on the fourth Monday of every month at 7pm in the worship center. Everyone is invited to join us as we pray for our community, our church, and our loved ones but most importantly as we come together to seek God's face.
We realize that children need our constant prayers. They face many academic and social challenges each day. Learning to become active in prayer life is just as important as any knowledge they will acquire. “Partners In Prayer” is a partnership between an adult and a school age child in our church. The purpose is for each team to pray daily for each other. This provides prayer warriors for our children in school, as well as teaches our youth how important intercessory prayer is. Successful ministry with children happens best in churches with an active prayer ministry. At MOFPHC we are storming the gates of Heaven for our kids!
Life Study Groups is a ministry similar to Sunday School with the emphasis of Discipleship through Small Groups. All age groups meet on Sunday nights at 6:30PM.
