Safety & Security

How does the security system work?

On Sunday mornings all XKidz areas are secured areas.  Only Volunteers and Children with printed security nametags on are allowed access to these areas.

Is this system used for all ages?

Yes!  Every classroom, from nursery through grade school, is a secured area in which this system will be used.

Is this Security Check In System Quick & Easy?

Yes!  Once your family is registered you are then put in our system and now have access to the Self-Check In stations.  You can set your account up to use any bar code to make check in quicker.  You will use the Self-Check In station to either scan your barcode or look up your account by last name.  Once you find your name click it then click OK.  You will be asked for a PIN Number.  Put in your pin number and click OK.  Select the individual(s) you want to check in then select the service you want to check them into.  Click the Back to Family Button and repeat this process for all those you wish to check in and then click finish on the family screen.  All Security Name Tags will automatically print.  An XKidz volunteer will always be ready if you need assistance.

What happens if I do not have the printed parent security tag when I go to pick up my child?  You will be asked to complete a missing security tag form before your child is released.  Please have identification ready.

What if the XKidz volunteer is a close friend?  Do I still use the Security Check in and out procedure?  Yes!  Because we serve so many children, we cannot keep track of all the possible domestic issues in a family from week to week.  Therefore, we require ALL volunteers to check ALL parent security tags for ALL children.

What do I do if I bring a guest to church with me?  When you check your children in at the XKidz Check In area, you will need to register your first time guests at the volunteer manned check in station or you can register the guest by selecting the guest check in option on the Self Check In stations.  We prefer you bring all first time guests to the volunteer manned check in station so that individual(s) can receive a first time guests gift.

THE RANDOMIZED SECURITY CODE IS ALSO USED TO ALERT PARENTS IF AN ISSUE ARISES WITH THEIR CHILD.  THE SECURITY CODE WILL FLASH ON THE BOTTOM OF THE MAIN SCREEN IN THE SANCTUARY.  IF YOU SEE THIS, PLEASE PROCEDE TO THE AREA WHERE YOUR CHILD IS LOCATED.
