Meet the Staff
Our lead pastor Jeff Dail is a native of this community. He is an Ordained Minister in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church Denomination. He has been serving at our church for over 20 years. Pastor Jeff is married to Lisa Anderson Dail and they have two boys, Caden and Lucas. Pastor Jeff has a passion for reaching people for Jesus and spending time with family.
John Michaelson began his ministry here in May 2016. He is an Ordained Minister in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church Denomination. Pastor John is married to Heather Michaelson. They met at Heritage Bible College and both later received bachelor’s degrees from Liberty University. They have three boys named JJ, James and Jonas.
Kevin Mooring along with his wife Amy, have been leading our Music Department since October of 2006. Both attended and graduated from Barton College. Pastor Kevin received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Religion. He is an Ordained Minister in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. In March 2008, in addition to Worship Pastor duties, Pastor Kevin joined the staff full time as the Creative Ministries and Connections Pastor. He now currently serves as the Executive Worship Pastor. Kevin and Amy have two boys named Caleb and Camden.
Lisa joined the staff as Connections Director here in June 2016 after teaching for 25 years in Wayne County Public Schools. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University and has earned her local church minister's license. She and her husband, Shelton, became members of Mount Olive First PH Church in 2007. Their family also attends MOFPHC and is actively involved.
Robin has been working here since 2010. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Math from the University of Mount Olive. She obtained her Master’s in Psychology from East Carolina University and her Doctorate in Christian Counseling from Kingdom Theological Seminary. She also obtained her local church minister’s license from NCIPHC in 2012. Robin and her husband Lance are Certified Prepare/Enrich Marriage facilitators. In addition, they lead the Art of Marriage pre-marital counseling sessions at the church. Robin and Lance have two children, Collin and Caroline.
Hannah Ward began her ministry here in September 2017. Hannah graduated from Emmanuel College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduation, she accepted an internship working in Children’s ministry and has been working in some capacity ever since. She taught fourth grade before entering full time into the ministry. Her passion is to see kids truly worship and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Mount Olive First PH has been home to Caleb since 2006 when he first started attending with his family. Caleb graduated with a degree in music education from one of our International Pentecostal Holiness Church colleges, Emmanuel College. As the Young Adult Pastor, he will be leading our young adult ministry “Engage.” His goal is to build a community where college students and young adults can find a place to belong and grow spiritually. In addition to Engage, he will be working alongside our young creative teams in developing the next generation for ministry. Caleb is both excited and thankful to be serving his church, and cannot wait to see what God has in store for the future.
