“Who We Are”

Our Vision

The vision we have at First Pentecostal Holiness Church is to be “a vibrant Spirit-filled church providing an atmosphere for spiritual maturity for the families of the Mount Olive area.” This means that we present a worship service that is charged with God’s presence and that we are committed to specifically ministering to all age groups for the purpose of helping them fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.

Our Mission

We will fulfill this vision by carrying out the mission of connecting upward, inward and outward.  By that we mean connecting upward to God with our worship, connecting inward to one another with fellowship, discipleship, ministry and training, and outward by being involved in Christian service. It is our goal to lead everyone who is a part of our church to doing these three things.

Our Core Values

Our core values are based upon the characteristics of the first century church as recorded in the book of Acts. They are as follows:

1) Relevant Bible preaching and teaching

2) Dynamic worship

3) Meaningful relationships

4) Quality leadership

5) Personal spiritual maturity

6) Effective evangelism.

These serve as a consistent foundational philosophy upon which our ministry is built.
